I've always thought about how much money you could make selling pizzas, burgers, hot chips and fresh bait in the middle of snapper season out at one of the marks.

Much the same concept as the portaboats.

They never really took off, I think they have a bad perception due to un-informed internet comments who just assume they are crap?
