Re: Horizontal rod storage on a Revolution 13

As I mentioned, I did initially use the off the shelf racks, and whilst they do work, the custom one's do work a little better as they are slightly larger and the angle allows the rods to stack much nicer. They also hold the reels way higher above the waterline when offshore.

Horizontal rod storage on a Revolution 13

Hey there, I did a bit of extreme reno's to the old Revo a couple of weeks ago, and the results may raise an eyebrow or two. The pictures speak for themselves really. I have always been a massive fan of the Revolution 13 as the great allrounder. Lakes, rivers, offshore - it is pretty much perfect ev...

Re: ABT Hopkins

Hi Stealth - apologies for the delay. Every season we run will be slightly different - some venues will be included, some won't - its just the nature of planning a year long series, and all the logistics that go with it. The Hopkins round was subject to some pretty major flood issues at the time it ...

Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series Round 20 Patterson Lake

It is almost here. The Patto, Sunday September 29th, 2013. Rumours have circulated from the moment that it was announced, that this could very well be the largest competitive kayak fishing event ever held in Australia to date. Marlo and Bemm River are remote, yet they always attract a big crowd, but...

Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series Round 19 Ballina ROLL CALL

Ballina - a venue which possibly sends a shiver up a few spines, as memories of torrential rain and hellish fishing conditions come flooding back... Well, there's nothing like making amends, and as such the Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series will be returning there for a two day tournament which will be...

Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series Round 17 Gold Coast ROLL CALL

Less than two weeks to go, and the Daiwa Hobie Bream Series returns to the warmth of Queensland, this time touching down on the legendary Gold Coast Canals. Notorious for holding fish that have seen just about every bream lure and retrieve you could imagine, these fish are well known for often provi...

Re: Hobie Tandem island

I used it six times. The rudder broke three times. I hated it. I sold it. I'd just like to point out that Rhino's TI was one of the very early models and since then, the entire rudder assembly and gudgeon was totally redesigned and now comes standard on all Tandem Islands. It is a far superior desi...

Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series Rd 16 Lake Tyers RESULTS

A big field of anglers were undaunted by the prospect of tough conditions and a tough bite at East Gippsland's Lake Tyers, and notching up his first win on the Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series was Melbourne local Clark Wilson. Smashing the field with two consecutive 3kg plus bags, Clark finished with ...
