Re: Vietnam Veterans DaY 2014
I have the greatest respect for those who served and sacrificed so much so for our country. My old man was an assault pioneer in Vietnam and both grandfathers were WW2 veterans, one i know was a AA gunner in Indonesia/South Pacific. Digger, my usual name on most forums etc is Digger.. after someone ...

Re: First time out
Nice one Frank, i didnt get anything on my first trip.
Infact at first i didnt even take any rods out with me in case i took an unexpected swim. But when it seemed likely that that wasnt going to happen i went back to my car and grabbed a rod and a couple of squid jigs.

A year down the track i love my kayak and am totally happy with my purchase and as it turns out i do get to use it a fair bit, but if i ever ge...

Re: Crumbing
If you cant be bothered with fresh then panko crumbs are always the way to go.
Also if you like a bit of Thai flavour try some desiccated coconut and a little lime zest in the crumbs, don't go overboard tho.

Re: OH BOY !!! Lessons to be learnt from this video
I took my kayak out for the first time yesterday and I have to say that this video was in my mind at the time. Other than not wanting to look like an idiot in front of everyone who might be watching by falling out etc, I also made sure to have all the required safety equipment and a paddle leash bef...
