JJ strength

Hey guys, was planning on heading out to JJ tomorrow. But after a quick read I see people say it's got strong current. I fish, flinders, hastenings, somers/balnarring a lot. So would i be able to 'handle' it or would it just be too strong to start out and probably head to LL or G instead?

Re: Lang Lang help

So I had a look at navionics and it says the channel is like 2m deep. I'm guessing it's on low. The channel that's straight out from the boat ramp. Is that right ?

Re: Lang Lang help

Have a look under the launch spots section Zac and you will find plenty of info. The launch at LL is the boat ramp at the end of Jetty Rd then turn right. You will need at least 1m of tide to launch. The water is shallow out from the ramp for about 1km. The main channels are south west of the ramp....

Hey guys planning on fishing Lang Lang for gummy and possible snapper. But I've never been to Lang Lang. So how far out roughly do I need to paddle to clear the mud ? Where do I launch ?

Re: which to side to glue

Pretend it is an iron and you are ironing clothes. The sole or bottom of the iron should be pointing down as if it were ironing. Mine sits in a water well, but others sit theirs in Sikaflex or similar. thanks, it's going to be my second time glueing it. the first time I forgot to duct tape it on do...
