Re: RTM sounder install
Awesome Idea mate. What did you do with the excess transducer cable. Looks very neat and tidy. Thanks Gozz. I'm thinking about making a decent trolley for the yak by using some aluminium and bending to the shape of the hull for a good fit. Cheap and easy to shape. I've got this thing for the alumin...

Re: RTM sounder install
It's all looks good, but I'm not too sure how aluminium will take to salt water, especially with any (even very small) electric current running through it. I guess it's very cheap and easy to replace, at least. Good point. But given there is no current actually running through the aluminum, I'm ass...

Being my first sounder, what sort of run time can I expect out of a 6Ah battery?
cheers, Glen

RTM sounder install
G'day all, been watching for a while how everyone has installed their sounders/transducers and trying to figure out what will work for my RTM. They key thing for me was to be able to use the sounder on my sons yak, which is the same as mine. Later on, we might get a 2nd sounder for his yak. So after...

Re: Anchor setup on k-largo?
Hey guys...quick update. Configured an anchor trolley using old washing line (all I had at the minute), which is plastic coated wire. Works quite well with a few cable ties (best invention those things). The question I had at the start was whether the screws had captive nuts, nuts on the inside or s...
