I used similar but wet mount and stick foam down with sikaflex. Push transducer in, snug fit. Then start off each trip squirt a bit of water in. I use a syringe due to position. i am still trying to think how they drowned with PFDs onjeff wrote:good idear i recon especaily if on your own.those two drown kayakers probly capsized in rough conditions and the yaks would have blown away fairly quick.
