Yeah agreed, I have only caught one snapper on it @ 48cm and it was chewed up real good, ended up repairing it bit with super glue but thats just a temporary fix. What are they made out of is it a type of foam?

The major difference was that the drink holder is larger so you need a larger PVC pipe. Think mine was 90mm plus the end cap made it fit snug. Best bet would be to take the hobie drink bottle with you when you are buying pipe and compare. Mine wasnt perfect so used some cloth to wedge underneath whe...

Got my new loomis Drop Shot DSR820 S 6'10 1 piece today in the mail...

It's is the best quality rod I have ever owned and it feels that way, it is sooo light. I cant stop looking at it. just need to connect a snapper to the end of it now :D :D

cooked up the 35cm pinkie from sat days sesh. basically just made garlic and dill butter mixture and scored the flesh in diagonals and covered it the butter and added salt and pepper. baked for 15 min uncovered on 180 and tasted pretty damn good.
