Re: Fishfinders
I have the Lowrance 5 chirp combo on my PA and it's been faultless.
Last a couple trips on one charge or about 8 hrs straight.
The chirp really clears up what you'd normally think were fish.

Re: Made something new and want to share it "I do"
Hi guys. The one thing that gets on my nerves about my pa14 is the slow turning circle. I know a few fellers have made bigger rudders but then they hit the ground when loading and unloading which needs a pvc adapter made to overcome that. I had the same kayak and I changed the seat to a boat seat, I actually reckon it was more comfy then my new vantage seat PA14.

Soldering irons.
Hi fellers.
I'm after a decent soldering iron for around $30.
I mainly solder wires for trailer lights and led lights and stuff so around 20 to 40 watts should be heaps.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Trailer draw bar second opinion please.
Hi fellers.
Just about to pick the trailer up but I spoke to the seller and he told me the current draw bar is 1.7mtrs long with a overall trailer length of 4.1.
I would need to make the draw bar 2.1mtrs.

Re: Trailer draw bar second opinion please.
Thanks buddy.
I'm picking the trailer up today at 3 so I'll get a exact length of the existing draw bar.
If I'm really lucky it might be long enough as is.
Fingers crossed.
I'll keep u guys updated once I get it home.

Re: Trailer draw bar second opinion please.
Thanks heaps cheater. Does it make it clear? Ummm no mate.haha Trailer is 8 x 4 tandem or 2.4mtr. The draw bar needs to be at a minimum of 2.1mts. The only time it will be used at full length is when the pa14 is sitting in it on the floor and there will be another pa14 sitting on a frame/rack above ...
