Re: Jet Skis Cross Bass Straits

Probably right Pete,
Slight over reaction to the first 4 replies on my part.

Re: Jet Skis Cross Bass Straits

Why the bashing. They raise some money for a good cause, have some fun with mates. They were prepared and did it safely. It is a tough ride for a good cause and deserves nothing less than a good onya.

Re: Kayaker rescued off Millers Rd tonight

Definitely good work on the boat that got to him and helped him out. I'm now carrying a marine radio for this exact purpose. Although I have no intention of going in the water, if it happens and I can't get myself sorted I'll be putting a call on on 16 with pan-pan and hoping some of the boats in t...

Re: Opinions: Lowrance HDS5 Gen2

It seems a bit of a strange choice to be recommending to you. The HDS5 Gen2 is a couple of years old and is now a discontinued fishfinder. :wtf: The current model is the Elite 5 CHIRP, which includes DV and CHIRP technology making it a much better buy. They may have been trying to sell you run...

I'll raise your Gosa and Fin Nor Lethal (already got one ): I ordered a new 2015 Daiwa Freams 4000 direct from Japan today (Digitaka ~$180) and was just notified it's been sent. The new Freams has some major improvements mainly in the form of Magseal and a new drag tension system. I've ma...

Re: Anyone know a good lawyer?

Thanks all for your assistance. You have given me a few leads to follow. This is nothing too serious but its giving me headaches and interfering with my fishing/family time. Lets just say a certain marina sunk my boat and nearly 3 months later it is still sitting there without any repair work done....
