They go well on sand. With very heavy loads the foam will compress over time but is easy to replace.

Yah the wheels are from k mart (green machine ) $8 each still haven't put the foam on lol. It does get bogged down a bit on really soft sand, but should be fine once the foam goes on.

Hobie still do twist and stow rudders? I really should keep up with the 'lesser' models... ;)
