The first cold day of the year!

Post by mingle »

At last - some genuinely cold, wet and windy weather!

Hopefully this is the end of summer - roll on winter!

Correct Tas-man! :-)

I just don't like the crowds in summer, plus the hot cloudless days are crap for fishing, plus I really don't like/can't physically handle warm/hot weather.

My favourite days are those in mid-late autumn, when you get a glassy-still day and the water is crystal-clear, and there's not a dickhead on a jet-ski anywhere to be seen... :-)

Cheers,

Mike.

Whilst I agree with you on the crowds (that's why I don't live in the city) You sir are a very sick man.
Your mind is like a Parachute! It only works when it is open

San Remo channel challenge was thoughtfully postponed today to labour Day weekend.
I had a quick stroll to the pier today and you'd have to be mad to go out for a swim across in that.
Bring on autumn

LOVE Autumn . Clear warm- very warm days[hopefully] , cooler nights . But summer beats winter for me hands down . I think we all spend too much time in the dark and indoors . I know I should head closer to the Equator . :D
