G'day,
I have a 2009 Outback and replaced the Seat Pegs with an adjustable kit which has been available for several years.
Never had a problem since.

My 2011 Outback has those plugs as standard i got to a point where my seat would come out lots on the water and have heard this is a very common thing.
Best thing about the new one is, only quater of a turn and the seat is locked solid
Here's some pics as you can see the front holes are standard with the new lugs in the rear
This is looking from the bottom
The new seat tabs one on the left is locked on the right is open
Both locked. They lay nice and flat
DIY movie is still on the way and after a test run yesterday im very happy

I liked the bit when you crawled into your yak via the 8" hatch, how you got your body into that space is amazing
