Going AWOL For A While!

Post by Digger »

On Saturday we fly out to Singapore for a couple of nights then on Monday we’re off to Heathrow. The next day we pick up the Royal Princess at Southhampton for a 12 day UK cruise. That encompasses Guernsey in the Channel Islands, a stop at Liverpool where we cruise the Lakes District and 3 ports in Ireland, 3 in Scotland and a final day in
Le Havre Normandy (D Day Invasion) where we take a coach into Paris for the day. We are to cruise Loch Ness whilst in Scotland and I’m hoping that Nessie will come out and say G’day as last time I was there she was sulking.

After the cruise we return to London for a night and then jump on a luxury small group coach tour for 5 days exploring Devon, Cornwall and the Cottswolds. Last 3 days is to be spent in London.

I just wanted you to know why I was a bit quiet for a while and for you not to worry that I’d dropped off my perch...grin~

So think of me trawling the food markets in Singapore on Sunday~

It’s a tough life sometimes....Sigh

Shame you won't be visiting Wales - some of the best coastline in the UK (on a sunny day :) )

If you wet a line in Loch Ness you'll have as good a chance as anyone ;)

Thanks Keith, looking forward to it. Taking just under month all up and we’re fitting in as much as we can. This is probably the only opportunity that we’ll get given age and health.

We’d love to visit Wales but sadly responsibilities here limit the time we can be away.

For the first time I’ll be going somewhere without taking fishing gear so they’d better not be biting!!

What sort of bait would you use for Nessie?? (tour guides, loud obnoxious tourists?)

I’ve ben brushing up on the joint on you tube and they catch some surprisingly good fish in the sea there!

Bigger fish than I've ever caught!

As long as I can get cod & chips there i'll be happy enough!

Besides if I want carp I can walk down to the Nicholson River, some thumpers in there~
