hi guys caught a couple gummies on the weekend and besides making a beer batter and deep frying them was just wondering if you's had any other ideas how to cooking them???
Yak PB: Leatherjacket 35.5cm, elephant fish 69.5cm, salmon 44cm, Whiting 38cm, squid (30cm Hood), Gummy 104cm, Flathead 34cm, Travelly 40cm, Pinkie 36cm

Gumbos taste too good as they are,
See no need to mess with something that tastes so good.
Its fish like snapper, salmon and so on that need things added to them

yeh they do, me misses made a gummy sweet chillie stir fry a while ago and boy did it taste yummo :D , worst thing is she cant remember how she cooked it :down:

I think it's hard to beat Gummy in a beer batter, though I shallow fry it in olive oil. YUM!

egg and bread crumbs + shallow fry in some light oil is pretty good as well

I have been eating sooooo much fish the past few months, most of it gummy! Got bored of fried, beer battered, bread crumbed fish so I started making some different dishes.

They are just made up but are awesome!! I like to cooking as it allows you to be creative, here are a few pics of some of the things that I tried but there are plenty of ideas...
