Camp fire desserts

Caught anything lately? Post up how you cooked it here and if it was a success. Doesn't only have to be fish....

Camp fire desserts

Post by riv »

While away recently the wife gave this a go and it was delicious we didn't use brownie mix instead put muffin mix in and we cut the orange in half and filled half of it then put the other half on top and wrapped it in foil

Orange Brownies: Take an orange, and cut about half an inch off the top, keep the top. Take a spoon and scrape out the insides, then fill the orange with brownie mix. Put the top back on the brownie and completely cover the orange in foil. Then let the orange cook in the coals for about 20 minutes or until the brownie is done. Enjoy the brownie

The orange flavor goes though the mix while it cooks and makes the best cake/muffin/brownie ever.

Cheers
