Eating Carp - Video

Caught anything lately? Post up how you cooked it here and if it was a success. Doesn't only have to be fish....

Eating Carp - Video

Post by maverick »

Happened to come across this video and it shows how to prepare a couple of small portions of a carp that are apparently edible and taste reasonable.

Might have to try it one day.

Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Thanks Mav, very interesting. Pretty similar to how I prepare Aussie Salmon by staying away from the bloodline flesh.

It looks like that Carp passed the acid test of the toddler going in for seconds, so I might give it a crack next time I catch one. As they say, don't knock it til you try it - and I'm yet to try it.

Like how he uses a little pink rod for catching carp.. Carp I seem to catch would use that to scratch their arse.
