Caught anything lately? Post up how you cooked it here and if it was a success. Doesn't only have to be fish....

Nice, so many things to smoke (food that is), scallops and squid go pretty well too.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Yes, don't mind a bit of eel, but prefer to roll strips of eel in lightly salted flour and fry it in olive oil until crispy. Yum, try it, you'll love it. Just make sure the oil's hot and cook quickly, don't let it burn, :P

Ever tried chilli pepper smoked trout?

Prepare your smoker for a 3 hours smoke.
Wash the fish and remove all bones.
Open and place inside 2 slices of lemon (cut into thin slices) and 2 green chillies peppers (cut open and seeds removed) and a clove of garlic (cut into 4 pieces) for each fish.
Place the fish in the smoker for three hours.
When done, remove the stuffing and serve.

Just love this! Let me know what you think about it. :)

Must try this! Thanks Marrie, I'll get hubby onto it.....we take the smoker most places when camping and fishing. Even if it's a day trip, he'll take the smoker and cook up the catch on the bank of where ever we may be. He's keen. :)
