I haven't had time to fish much over the last year. Too much work, too many other hobbies and things to do but I'll always get around to fitting in a Bass or Trout trip with an old mate when I get the chance. The video covers a couple of days to mark in 2015. No large fish but good volumes on both days. A few Trout for the plate and number of Bass in the 30-35 range amongst a lot of the more recent stockings.

The Trout work is in a fairly pristine location that is hard to get to and not really for the unfit (6 hours in mountain goat country with one entry and one exit on this section). The Bass work is pretty typical of a good day on our local lake that no longer disappoints. Its a bit experimental, I'm on a software beta test, so trying a few things out. It probably needs headphones for the full effect although without them, you can avoid my in-situ chatter.

Enjoy (or look away).

My fishing trips over the last few years can be pretty much counted on one hand, hence I'm rarely on forums these days. Work, family, other interests etc, but when I get the chance, I'll always dust off my mojo laden Espri and go on a bass hunt. I had a couple of magic sessions back in early April at a spot X in NSW that I have fished a number of times before.

The video shows a lot but can't quite capture all the special moments. There are a few good moments here but the money shot in this one starts at the 5:30 minute mark for anyone that makes it that far. Probably a 4-5' cast into a snag ridden pool that took a long time to get to for about the best up close bass action, I've experienced. What the camera doesn't show is a dark shape charging out of the snags, mouth gaping open, to totally engulf the lure. HD is always better on youtube.

cheers
Rob
