hey guys, which end do I glue to the inside my hull? it's a Garmin striker 4

from the manual when attached to the boat this part goes in the water. but when I googled my problem I couldn't see anything to help me, and I've read the manual from to bsck about 1000 times and can't see anything to help me. does anyone know ?

You want the surface in the bottom pic pushed down firmly into the silicone with no air bubbles.

Pretend it is an iron and you are ironing clothes. The sole or bottom of the iron should be pointing down as if it were ironing. Mine sits in a water well, but others sit theirs in Sikaflex or similar.

thanks, it's going to be my second time glueing it. the first time I forgot to duct tape it on down the silicone didn't tske properly

Make sure you have it pointing in the right direction. Pointy end forwards.
