If you are drifting for flatties etc you can loose a lot of hooks etc to snags, so you dont need top of the line for that. if you are specifically targeting big snapper and gummies you you can flash up as you are not drifting into reefs and weed etc so dont loose as much, and they wil be put under bigger stress and it will annoy you more when you loose a hook up. Biggest lost rate for gummy hooks is because you haven't checked your knots properly.
