Heard on the news a couple of people got into trouble last night near Point Wilson. Obviously not the smartest cookies to go out yakking in 50 knot winds, but luckily they both made it out alive.
Don't have a link with more info but I'm sure something will turn up.

The best source for fact is always Vicpol news release (media often use Vicpol for a lot of their stories but may change the words).
There is a search box on the right of screen to let you find particular articles. Any prompt for logon is for media people. You don't need to logon to search and read.
Here's is the information shared by the Police about that event.

You can subscribe to VicPol via RSS just use the following link in your reader

There are similar media release web pages for Police in every State. Most other State and Commonwealth Departments also have News Release web pages.

there is no rifle range rd in point wilson. I'd say it was campbells cove. This area is busy at night and although very windy with strong northerly seems calm in close. Would have got into trouble very quickly. Idiots.

Even 100m from shore in a 50 knot wind can produce half metre waves with no issues what so ever, you'd have to have rocks in your head to go out last night.vicyak wrote:there is no rifle range rd in point wilson.
