Purpose Built Double Yak Trailer SOLD!

Post by Digger »

So all of my yak gear has now been sold! Sad really, but necessary.

It is going to a respected member here and I'm pleased for him, and to soon get space back in my shed. Incredible, 10 squares and I haven't got any space!

Additionally another member has contacted me and wants the Raymarine Sounder I have offered pending payment but as far as I'm concerned it is sold.

So VYak, thanks you for a terrific facility and to all of you for your support!

NOTE PRICE REDUCED TO $995!
This is now below parts cost.
Both yaks sold!

Also still for sale is our purpose built double trailer.

Designed with rails at the rear to allow yaks to slide on and off easily, a one handed operation actually. No more bad backs or salt water on the roof of your vehicle. (pics were before they were finished but are only ones I have without kayaks.)

Electrical wiring is reliable and professionally done. (can supply pics if asked) This trailer is built like a brick dunny and tows like a dream!

Trailer rego just paid so it carries 12 months from this date.

Asking $1150 but am negotiable.

Clearly it's sad to see anyone selling their yaks, much less you Dig!
Hope you are not giving up fishing altogether?

Steve

He mustn't have read the thread where I was asking the best way to market my yaks if that was the case, but fair enough.

No Steve, I'm going to buy (hopefully) a tinny so I can continue fishing as giving it up is the last thing on my mind! If I have to drag myself to the water in my hands and knees then I'll still find a way to catch the odd fish....chuckle~

Thanks for commenting mate.

Yeah me too Ray then I wouldn't be needing to sell them to buy a boat!

All that detail, by the way is for lurkers who mightn't know about the cost of these things.

I am happy to sell the item separately of course.

Cheers Mate.

I've got a couple of people interested in my yak, the one with the sounder Jim and I'd say on Saturday it will be gone.

Forum advertising didn't elicit any interest because you blokes are used to seeing urgent sales at low prices. These yaks haven't had a lot of use and I'm not going to sell them for a bargain basement price. I'm in no hurry.

I am prepared to negotiate a reasonable amount however, and I have other accessories that I might throw in depending on price.

Once mine is gone I will list Mrs Digs yak and the trailer seperately. The enquiries are all from Gumleaf and although I have offered them separately the package price is all that some will have seen. Listing them on their own should work better!
The other problem is that I am listed in East Gippsland and some mightn't even look because of that, but so far Gumleaf is the one that is getting the interest so I will stick with them.

As each sells I will modify the entry here.

Thanks for your interest.
