I could do pics but I can't upload to the forum cos I can't make them small enough.
To resize, right click on photo, select edit, this will open in paint, go to tab at top and click to resize, you then get choice of % or pixel. Usually 1200 pixel horizontal is fine for forums. Close and choose to save. I make a copy first rather than resizing original
I have tried this before and all it does is turn the pic into thumbnail. I have been advised some apps and tried 2 or 3 of them but none of them will work for me for some reason. On an older pc I had a program that was quick and easy to resize the data without affecting anything else but that was an older pc.
Dont know how that is happening unless you are resizing an already small pic, or selecting a way too small pixel size.

I reduce the size by opening in paint, first "save as" jpg, some pics use other formats, once saved as jpg check size if adiquate your done, if not (my phone takes 1.8m min) so got to resize and choose % not pixel, as mine are 1.8m i use 50% reduction this reduces the to around 650kb, this should work everytime, now "save as" new name so you know which pic to post, this is a no fail been using it for years ;)

For changing the size of pics try this free software, it's free and very simple to use. I used it for years in my sign business for a quick way to size pis for email etc. I'm currently using it on W10

New kayak Trailer now built, the drawbar looks longer in this photo but is longer that normal as I will eventually upgrade to longer hobies. It tows well and is very easy to launch and retrieve especially when you're a bit aged challenged. The boats sit on it very stable and are supported front and rear as well as the slide which are covered in marine carpet.

Nice job Terry, been heavily debating which hobie to buy and i have somewhat decided to take a closer look at the outback, one of my thoughts was to take a trip up the east coast visit my daughter and new found 1/2 siblings and taking the yak, noticing you live somewhere in the same area and have not one but 2 outbacks i dont see the need for me to drag my own all that way lol
