Richard Somerton Wins at Mallacoota
Richard Somerton has taken out the Mallacoota round of the Daiwa Kayak Fishing Series with some big fish and a full bag on each day of the event. It's a happy man who hits the scales with 6 from 6. The top of the Angler of the Year board is looking crammed and Narrabeen in Sydney is going to be something special.... yeah Baby, Giddy Up. Bring on the last round, it's a final in itself.
Bruce Waterson wins the Hog's Breath Boss Hog title with a 1.31kg catch.

Thanks Greggo and Daz, was definitely a tough event, travelled over 39kms all weekend legs are feeling it now.
A big congrats to Richard for grinding away and getting a bag on both days, definitely makes a difference.
He travelled and found the fish on the prefish and it all came together. Definitely deserves the AOY this year with a lot of consistent results just need to nail a good result in Narabeen and glory is all his
Only a month away until the GF at Bemm River, can't wait already making the plans now to try and do well.
See you all there, was great to meet a number of other members at coota as well.
Cheers Dale.
Here one of the fish that helped me get up there on day 2.

Well done Richard in tough fishing conditions.
Heard about Monday, thats where i had the fish going nuts doing the same thing on the Sandworm on Sunday when i finally found them.
Got a good one third cast then when the wind swung around to the south they shutdown
