Re: carp anyone
I think carp actually tastes better smeared with mud, just slightly
People laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at them because they're all the same.
Re: carp anyone
i used to as a kid laugh at the Italians for eating those ugly things !!! that's right squid.Last year i went deer hunting up the Alps and my mates Dad (Hungarian) went fishing. When we got back his Dad had a big carp ,i said your kidding aren't you ?Well he showed me how to clean etc, No joke they aren't bad at all. The big thing is if they live in muddy water "NO WAY" if it's clean running rivers then YES.

Re: carp anyone
It would take a lot to convince me that they are ok on the plate, but I'm sure I remember watching something on the box years ago about a pub or restaurant in Renmark or Berri that specialized in them. Of course South Aussies are bit on the odd side anyway.
I'd probably give it a try...if I didn't know what it was at the start...or if I'd had way too many beers.....maybe.

praz " these spices will work wonders with anything... "
Us " carp will still. be carp just with spices"
praz " this tastes like crap i mean carp"
Indian spices didn't work that night on the carp but great on the chicken...
