Today I dropped into Action Kayak and Sail to pick up some new lures
I went to grab the 2012 seat pegs to do an upgrade. For those that have pre 2012 Hobies you will of had the seat lugs pop out while on the water once or twice if you fish hard.
Well Hobie have finally got an upgrade kit for around $15 it includes new pegs, screw in lugs for the hull, 2 white PVC caps, 90 sec epoxy some gloves and a paddle pop stick to stir with.
I have just glued the two white caps into the hull over the old seat hole mounts this will reinforce the hull for when I tap the thread out.
I'm making a vid as I go so it should be up by Monday
For anyone in a Hobie pre 2012 this is a must have if you live in the yak like me
