.....some of the divers (and perhaps others) on here might enjoy. Some experimental footage from a touristy dive trip on the Barrier Reef from early last month. Just working out the challenges of preparation, filter swaps, camera shake and post-processing in taking underwater footage. Easy to see the damage clumsy divers can do to these systems though.

Thanks. I took a GoPro 1 underwater at Fish Rock Cave earlier this year but it really wasn't geared for it. The GP 3 with the flat lens and raw footage options is much better suited. Talking to a few dive industry professionals, it seems many non professional photographers are going down the path of the smaller action cameras.

I did it about 10 years ago - still remember it like yesterday. Plenty of sharks, big sharks.

*sigh* ... I so miss the live onboard trip.... where you just Dive/eat/sleep for 3-5 days continuously .....

Did it once 5 years ago, wish I can do it again ......
Fishing is just like Accounting .... it is all about Optical Illusion ...............
