Hobie Sport hull shape change - when?

Post by Adrian »

I'm looking at selling the Outfitter as finding willing crew members isn't as easy as it was (kids growing up etc etc) and getting a Sport. We had a 2008 Sport so I know it will be tight but great fun and easy to load on the 4WD by myself. An Outback would be better in many ways but not a lot smaller/lighter than the Outfitter.

Clearly the 2015 Sport is a different yak to previous years. My question is when was the new tri-hull shape introduced? There are a few runout specials for the 2014 that have the front hatch but the old seat and a few older ones that have round hatches but small changes to the rudder controls.

Dont rule out the revo 11 as it is also relatively light and maneuverable out of the water. A very nice little yak too
