Sounder cable

Post by mazman »

Hey guys i'm in need of a new sounder cable (i think), my current sounder is a cuda 350 s/map and the plug to go in the back has corroded and no longer works. What would be the cheapest and easiest way to fix this problem.

Cheers Alex

If you are good with electrics maybe it could be hardwired.

Put up a picture of the plug. My echo 300c transducer plug corroded out. I replaced it with 2 x 2core 1.5mm lighting cables taped together that pushed onto the pins and held with friction. This worked well for over a year until I recently upgraded the sounder.
