Thanks Bozzie, after I saw your post a while back I went out and got one at Hoppers. $300 - worth it I'd say.
But I have 2 problems with it.
1/ Like you, after about half way up it becomes difficult due to the PA sticking out and the angle you need to be at turning the gear link.
2/ my garage ceiling is raised (I built the house with storing the yak on the roof in mind!). So when I lower it fully... it still sits about 80cm off the ground Solution is to get longer steel cable to replace.
But thanks heaps for posting your initial post - the Racor storage unit is money well spent!
