Still here - looked like being released tomorrow but have a large aneurism in my groin from when they put a line into my artery..............
Aneurysm eh? I've never called it that before.
Whenever they stick something into you, or cut you, there is usually some sort of mild trauma.
Don't rush out old boy till they give you the big tick and an elephant stamp.

That is just bloody slack of the surgeon. Melbourne developed a world first device to insert which ensures circulation below the affected artery that prevents that happening.....clearly neglegent on their part not to use it in your proceedure.......get onto your lawyers quick smart.maverick wrote:Still here - looked like being released tomorrow but have a large aneurism in my groin from when they put a line into my artery during the operation. Waiting for an ultrasound today, but could be more surgery still......
Better to be in here and find it I suppose.
When all else fails........read the instructions!

Last update from me about this - apparently the lump is not aneurysm and I am heading home tomorrow. A couple of weeks before I can yak (or so they think LoL).
So if anyone ever has to go through the same/similar process, please feel free to contact me via pm if you want to chat about it. Thanks for the support guys, it is wonderful.
Hobie Compass is on order.

Great news Mav. Went in to get the ticker reconditioned and came out with a new yak. Excellent.maverick wrote:Last update from me about this - apparently the lump is not aneurysm and I am heading home tomorrow. A couple of weeks before I can yak (or so they think LoL).

Compass? The compass is a newby for Hobie, but is it a 'fishing' yak, like the Outback came to be?maverick wrote: A couple of weeks before I can yak (or so they think LoL).......

Could you please share your reasoning for this? Or did I just get sucked in?
If it is true, you definitely set the bar very high for the rest of us.
Well, you and Frank with his 'replacement' AI.

Nice, half way between an Outback and a PA so should be a lot of fun to pimp. I'm guessing you went seagrass green over slate blue?maverick wrote: Hobie Compass is on order.

If you could get back on the water ASAP please mate, The Snap know you're not out on your reef and subsequently are not showing up. My wife is growing tired of me coming back without dinner.
