Non Yak Cray Trip Wednesday 8th.

Post by maverick »

For any divers down the Peninsula way, I am heading down to do a back beach shore dive on Wednesday before work. Heading out with another diver, but anyone else is more than welcome. Plan to be in the water at 0730 and out at 0830 with a bag full of crays. Surf forecast is for 2 foot waves and an offshore wind.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Back beach has been looking pretty good for diving Mav, only a small swell running, didn't walk yesterday due to leg and didn't go down the beach this morning, will go there later this arvo and report back.

Went back down, no fins cutting the surface or seals tonight. If you were doing a shore dive there would be a bit to much surge but out a bit off a boat would be sweet. Hope it hold up for you Mav.

Not fussed about the fins Eddie, just the big toothed mouths attached to them  But it is ok, I am taking the sacrifical brother in law as an offering, should it be needed.

It's been quite good out back for a few days know and if it stays that way should be great diving, visability looked quite good as well. Best of luck ;)

Sacrificial brother in law sounds like a good deal
