Thanks for the great info guys I have ordered 1 off ebay $13 delivered to the office, on thing I did notice is a lot of flags on sale are below (well below) the size mentioned in the link that Brett put up so be careful when ordering on Ebay.
As for the second flag on a tether and buoy I will look into this at the moment I'm doing 1 trip to get a bit of footage around the Altona artificial reef and maybe no more, in the future if I get a little more into it I will certainly look at more gear so I can venture further away from the yak.
