A big field of anglers were undaunted by the prospect of tough conditions and a tough bite at East Gippsland's Lake Tyers, and notching up his first win on the Daiwa Hobie Kayak Bream Series was Melbourne local Clark Wilson.
Smashing the field with two consecutive 3kg plus bags, Clark finished with a combined weight of 6.27kg, holding off a very fast finishing Joel Crosbie who, with the addition of the weekend's Boss Hog Fish of 1.43kgs to his Day 2 bag, climbed an impressive 8 places to snatch 2nd place from the ever consistent Chris Burbridge, who added the Pro division winnings to his 3rd place position.
