Fish hates man....loves man vid

Popped down to flinders for some freediving looking for some Blue Devil Fish that I'd seen earlier but instead i was distracted by this blue leatherjacket....and played a game of confidence and curiosity with him to get him close. A big blue throated Wrasse .....his companion was a bit on the shy side but after an hour came around to say hi..I couldn't find those Blue Devil Fish...will try again sometime.

nice vid couldnt help thinking that the LJ looked like bubba from forrest gump. the way its mouth was hanging open did you have zoom on that camera or were you able to get super close? I've had LJ's eat out of my hand before but never been that close to a bluethroat.

Nice video & appropriate sound track. The lips on the LJ look like it does want to kiss you.
The Blue Devils are a lot more elusive and from my experience are usually in deeper water.
