So I put down a deposit on a new yak earlier in the week.
Yeah I know, it has a motor so needs to be registered. I already have a boat operators licence, but I don't need to wear a pfd in this one although I probably still will. The PFD branded Hunter I wear is just too damn comfortable not to.
Not much pimping to be done as this thing has just about everything one needs.
Looking forward to spending some quality time with my old man again, along with other family and friends.
I'm a little sad though as I fear my days of contributing here are coming to an end. Behind Will and Mitch as administrators I was the 2nd member.
I've enjoyed my time at vyak and am proud of the contribution I've made. I take with me some great friendships formed here.
No plans to sell the yak or trailer. They'll still be used.
Good luck to all and stay safe.
Cheers
Rhino.

Tight rig mate As much as I love yakking I do still think that boats kick their butts Hopefully you and the fam use and enjoy her as much as she deserves

Looking like a beast, I am sure you will enjoy.
Nice and safe in the RIP in that one
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Re: Tournament Yak
Your contributions particularly the videos I saw on you tube of you catching snapper in PPB inspired me to have a go at a kayak fishing course, register on this forum and buy a yak.
Enjoy the quality time on your new investment with your dad, family & friends.

Great looking rig but I really hope you still do the occasional report with a vid. They are always good watching.
