I will be doing the Paynesville round and wondering a good place for accomodation.

It depends on what you are after.

Not sure if the caravan park has accommodation but there are units on the canal past the Raymond Island ferry. Much more available in Bairnsdale!

Sorry being local means I have no need to be up to date with whats available. Try the Tourist Info centre in B'dale...it's besides St Mary's church, near McDonalds if that helps.

You can ring them or email them beforehand.

Who is going to do the Paynesville round as I would like meet up with some people from here. Would not even mind sharing accomodation with someone. I am located in the Tullamarine area.

Steve with the wind and commitments I haven't been out for a couple of weeks, and even then info on the bream was anecdotal. Last I heard there were some in McMillan Straits but not told where.

Next Friday is looking like being the best day for weeks for wind. Of course that may change before then. If it's any good then I might be out then myself.
