This is my beast! I live too close to the water to start the car but still too far for a normal trollie, 2km's.

Do you struggle to get trolley in and out, or do you remove wheels before removing frame?

Any concerns about excessive leverage on scupper holes?

How does it go in soft sand/

I bet you get some funny looks

Now u just need a mountain bike with one of those little 2 stoke motors and make it a sort of trailer.
That would make the goat track so much easier!!
I survived the June 2012 Vyak server crash, just.

A jockey wheel and long arms and you could wheel yourself to the beach

I have a procedure when reloading the trollie .Roll the yak on its side load the frame and one wheel and lower onto sand then lift other side and slot on other wheel in ,the axel hole has a cover to stop sand from getting in .
The scupper holes are fine as the axel does not directly push onto them ,the axel is centrlised to the kayak and there is a padded frame that the kayak sits on .
The wheels on the sand were better than expected and when they sink the hand rail adds more surface footprint so i have never been hopelessly bogged ,and on the road it is not an effort at all even on some of the hills in Somers .
Thought about a front wheel but then its more stuff to carry out there so i just balance the weight for transit .

Well done,
I give it 2
The ordinary trolleys arent great if you have to wheel the yak any distance, that certainly solves the problem well.

One of my mates dads had a Ti about 6yrs ago
He was only a short walk from the geelong waterfront.
So he welded up a bracket to an inflatable jockey wheel that clicked into the mirage drive
Bobs ya Aunty no lifting the yak the jockey wheel swivles to turn, he got rid of the Ti and now uses it on a sport
