, really interested to watch you on that
Any rudder on those.
Yep all the new Stealths run a surf ski style rudder underneath, he just hasn't installed his yet, I assume because it will sit flatter while he is tinkering with mods.
yes the rudder is on now - it is about a foot or so in from the rear under the oval shaped plate in front of the rear carry handle
must say Westy all pimping jobs take longer on this than my other yaks did cos you just wont to keep looking at it
HEAR THAT CHEATER, l got excited looking at it TOO

You'll be wanting to have a race against this pedal-powered monster...

How long until we see a pro fisha or similar with a mirage drive well moulded in.

Looks good but I doubt it would go faster than paddle power at this stage.

I would agree -- last night Leep ( Leejo ) and i had a short paddle at blind bight so he could get his new kayak wet - with a whole km of practice on a new craft and a new paddle to him he was able to do 9 kph fairly easy
after a few trips I have no doubt he will be able to hold that as a cruse speed and down wind chasing runners that will be quite a bit faster

Into a headwind is where pedals in a sleek hull excells. Even reclining back reduces wind resistance.
The torque of a pedal drive is a big plus when you start loading them up with gear compared to a bare yak.
