In all seriousness I reckon the reverse in that sort of structure gives you a false sense of security, I prefer chasing the fish and keeping the fight vertical.
Sounds good in theory.
Don't forget to tell the fish that when you get there!
I've found they usually fight dirty.
Just got back from some skinny water cod chasing, and on my outback, I could see that reverse would be handy.
Especially when the wind picked up and kept blowing me into the timber.
There are other uses for it as well, but for how much?........................
