For a bit of fun, I'm going to bet my way through the remaining weeks of the year and test my amateur punting skills on......well.....any sport you can bet on.
My plan is to bet $20 a week for the next 11 weeks to Xmas on either the Dishlickers, GG's and others sports.
The idea is to see if i can pump my total winning up enough to purchase a new reel.
Now that reel could be a new Daiwa Steez..............or...........a new Jarvis Walker $30 toy.
Time will tell.
Each week I will post up my intended bet/s and will keep a running sheet on how things are travelling.
As a part time punter (had to search for my TAB card) most of my bets will be very conservative but every now and then I may let my hair down and take on some long shots.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!
BTW:-
any good track whispers would be well appreciated and anyone is welcome to join in on this 'crazy' project.

Good luck Matty, just paint the old Jarvis special "black" put some Daiwa decals on the side and no one will ever know.
Bilbz.
PS Being a lucky guy (not) i would be better off putting the $20 a week in a tin and getting it out in 30years to realise i have just spent the last of it at Motackle.

Matty at one stage i owned 5 trotters and the only people that make any money is the trainers and the riders/drivers. You are just chucking good money away after 5 years and thousands down the drain never again to have a bet

So its odds on for mr Jarvis Walker at this stage Matty ..Had a bit of a Fly fish in a flooding, dirty Goulburn river last evening, wind, rain and a little sleet, still had a great time and managed to net a small rainbow and an average size brown..

Yeah Willman, it was an fantastic day out . Gusts to 63knots, which made the sand come off the dunes and cover us in it. Too sum up the day, hailed on, rained on, currents, wind lifting water off water, sanded on and very wet. Sorry to hijack your thread Matty. Cheers!!
