You obviously like the grevillias Rob?, you must get a lot of the smaller honey eaters hanging around. looks fantastic, can understand why you are so happy with it. Nice work, must be a good spot to kick back and "smell the roses"
Cheers

Re: About as O/T as you can get!
Up until last year we have been running the property as a "flower farm" providing native flowers and foliage to local florists so naturally we have the odd Aussie native plant in our garden. We estimate having planted 8000 trees and shrubs over the years and specialised in gumleaf foliage initially and so have a hell of a lot of gumtrees here too. We have got some large plantations of Leaucadendrons which are South African and a few proteas.
Who said money doesn't grow on trees?
Mum has a few exotics around her place up the hill but the rest of the plants here are native.
The business name is "Gumleaf Farm".
Thanks for your thoughts.

P.S. The bird life here is fantastic but it is hard to get any fruit off the 100 or so fruit trees here, they are relentless!

Thanks Doddsie,
Not talented but have to work pretty hard at times!! I managed to grow a lot of the plants myself which was a good saving and I learnt a lot in the process too.
Have done a lot of work here these last few days and it just looks so nice at the moment.
Cheers mate.

Thanks Foz,
I reckon I live in paradise too, well right up to the bushfire season which is just around the corner now. Gotta finish the electric fence in the next few days and get some cows eating the grass as it's about 3 feet high at the moment and if I cant get it eaten down I'll have to slash it again, and I was hoping not to have to do that.
Just think, the closest neighbour is 300 metres away...bliss!
