daiwa hobie bream thing, hopkins river

Post by vaporboy »

hey i was searching through the 2011 abt tournament calender and i came across this one at hopkins so i think i might give it a go :), yea i cant quite understand it all so thought i'd ask the experts  it sais 25 litre livewell, will my esky with an aerator be sufficient? Do i have to hav a hobie kayak or is my mini x good? It sais 50 bucks entry but is that all, do i have to sign up to the abt series aswell? And if i'm all good, how do i get an entry form ?

I use an 27 litre litre esky with an aerator and change the water occasionally - works fine and was acceptable at the ABT I entered.

$50 to join or $40 to renew and then $50/day. If it is a 1 day comp then it will only be $50 + $50 joining fee, = $100 in total. Last time you could join on the day. You don't have to have a Hobie.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Saw Gerkas photos on BM the river is looking unbelivable.Hope your friends get through o.k..Hopkins comp start is up river too  .Probably be better if it was down the bottom.Looked at weather forecast for this weekends comp at Bemm for this weekend and the weathers good but the wind is going to be 25ks from the east which will make the inlet a bit lumpy
