Ghurkwin....thats not kellys rig you nong ...its the link picture to the 2 sail rig on the http://www.... must have been more poison in that spine than first thought ..... BTW- its is a nice rig though !

geez the guy on the canoe was flying...like to see him try that on Port Phillip  if the wind is strong eneough to get up some speed, generally about 15knt wind to generate 5knts speed, its also enough to whip some short, steep seas that will cause all sorts of pain.. IMHO anyone on a yak with a reasonable sail area will need an outrigger if the winds over 15Kts. Sure can be done up to 25 kts without but then it just becomes an extreme adrealine sport with the appropriate outcome prepared for! I've been out in 35 Kts without outrigger and sure flew along - with an outgigger you can handle 30knts and 2m waves - otherwise forget it- its just a game of luck. Steve you should make sure you come along to any sail meets to help with ideas etc...

Ive got plenty of ideas thats for sure, maybe we could wheel my bar down to the beach where these sail meets are going to be, coz I solve most problems there
