Hey guys thanks for that, it was a wet and wild weekend. It rained part of Saturday and almost all of Sunday and the wind was challenging at times also. I was glad I had on my wet weather gear I managed to enjoy it regardless of how nasty it was. The gear was the dry pants Neil spoke of recently (madfishman) and the top was the one with dry seal around the neck and the wrists I was warm and dry until I took it off. (if you want more info give Scotty Lovig a call i think he has 1 or 2 left after the boat show) and anyone who spends time in there yak is great value for money. Some of the anglers came back in early due to the tough weather conditions
Matty caught an absolute monster ( 2 years in a row Boss Hogg at Narrabeen)and 2 comps in a row Boss Hogg )fish bigger than most of the entire fields 3 fish bags. Matty and I were thrilled to qualify and also happy to finish top 4 against all the Local NSW who fish it lots. Big thanks to MattyP for driving up with him and Neil, Greg from Hobie for getting my yak there and Jason Meech for sharing some of the bream secrets. I also had luck go my way which always helps in these events.

Cheers Guys.
As Scotty said, we are both thrilled to qualify for the final at Port Macquarie in late Oct.
Tough conditions yet enjoyed every minute.
Sydney bream fishos are very fortunate to have such systems like Narrabeen Lakes to fish year round and it's only 40 minutes from the CBD.
If your ever up that way, I recommend paying a visit.

Well done Scotty and Matty, i watched the live weigh in on sunday and it looked absolutely horrible there so well done for even going out. Looking at the numbers it was lucky you fellas turned up or else they would have hardly anyone there, whats the go with the NSW boys are they fair weather fisherman only or just not interested in ABT? Well done again and i'll see you fellas up at Port Macquarie, if not before at St George's Basin.
Cheers Joel
