So I registered my 6x4 and transported my PA14 for six years like that with no issues. Rego was about $60 a year and a darn si...

Re: Redhot fishing charter - do not use them

I’m very disappointed to hear this review/report. After using charters at Portland for years, I would choose RHFC and Simon Renaldi before anyone else, no questions asked. Simon is the real deal when it comes to fishing, boats and seamanship. Once when we were out at the shelf he stayed out an extra...

Re: Garage hoist Install

Well done. It looks neat. What if you shortened the loops so that the hook attached just an inch or two above the kayak. I recon you'd get another 300mm height.

Hi Darryl

I live in MM too and fish the area regularly. The advice Pete gave you is good. Good luck, hopefully catch you soon.

Filleting, skinning and deboning flathead

I assume that most of you will be au fait with this. I knew how to fillet, skin and debone by cutting a 'v', but this explained how to debone by ripping really well. Hope it helps someone.

Re: COOK island =bonefish/mahi mahi/yellow tail tuna

Frank. If you go with Itu, you can't go wrong. It was hard work but I ended up with three for the day. Not very big, but boy did they fight. Dropped about four. http://i65.tinypic.com/x6bo82.jpg Oh yeah. Be really careful when fishing the atolls channels on a falling tide (Raro). Every year a few to...
