Re: Sad Day Yesterday!

I am the same as you Digger, have a 2009 Honda Accord out of Thailand and it has to be the best car I ever had. I made the mistake of buying an XF Falcon back in 1986, the only thing that was right with it was the colour... Lemon Yellow... matched the car perfectly. On delivery it had paint runs on ...

Re: let the pimping begin

Looking forward to seeing your efforts on pimping the OK.
Bought mine at the end of Feb, and being new to the yakking scene, I am interested in maybe doing a few mods to mine as well.

Re: Where to buy Ocean kayak Trident Ultra 4.3 in Vic?

I bought my Ocean Prowler Ultra 4.3 from No Limits in seaford about 3 weeks ago. He has or had one in stock which has been used as a demo a couple of times and has a reasonable price on it. Check it out.

Re: Kayak fishing safety course 9th Feb or 9th Mar 2014.

A big thanks to John for a most enjoyable and informative course. Time disappeared very quickly and before we knew it we were loading our yaks back onto the cars. The information and skills I walked away with after the course has cetainly given me a lot more confidence and I feel everyone should con...

Re: Mornington Peninsula catch up.

I will be there if I can get a leave pass from the missus.

Hope you don't mind having an "Old Fart" like me asking silly questions.

Be good to meet some of you guys before I get on the water.

Re: Yet another Newbie

Thanks for the welcome Somewhere Offshore,

Been reading through the safety section on the site and found the link to the safety angling course.
Have sent an email and hope to be able to fit into the course scheduled for the 9th Mar.
Finding this site great value indeed.

Hi laneends, yes, it is the OK Prowler Ultimate 4.3.
It is Mango in colour, a good safe easy one to see I should think.

Re: Yet another Newbie

Yep very aware of safety guys.
I have been racing sailing dinghies since '96 and capsized them on many occasions. Getting back aboard takes practice.
I intend to practice getting back on a fair bit before I head out and I will be carrying flares etc too.... just in case.

Yet another Newbie

Hi All
Very new to the kayak fishing.
Feel it is time to give up on fishing from Mornington Pier and get out on the water.
Just ordered an Ocean Ultra 4.3 and am impatiently awaiting its arrival.
Very keen to get out on the water around Mornington and maybe... just maybe hook a schnapper.
