Re: Teams have been drawn out of the Mad Hatters Hat
agrojim... ya poor cnut! Fear not though mate as I am hatching a cunning plan as we speak.... I'm currently lobbying the DPI to get "tall sweedish backpackers" added to the vic species list, we'll get one of those on the brag mat mate and these mug punters will need 186cm of pinkies &...

Re: Comp Rules and Guide.
Good point Maverick.
In that case I'm more than happy to jump into the mad hat.
Cheers,
Jim

Re: Comp Rules and Guide.
The pairs is a good idea however many of us are worried about dragging our team mates down. In my case I really can't get down to the bay very often so I'll be mainly fishing local water and I'm certainly not likely to be breaking any records. Also I don't have access to as wide a variety of fish as...

I'd like to join in as a solo please. Rather not burden another member who might actually have a chance of winning.

Re: New Hobie Outback in Bendigo
Howdy Brenton.
I'm in Bendigo too. It wasn't your yack on a Jeep I saw a couple of days ago was it?
I just got back from a paddle at Eppalock myself... No luck today though unfortunately.
It would be good to meet you out there some time.
Cheers,
Jim

Re: Running Accessories
I think you guys are referring to lithium polymer, these are lithium open and the new lipo4 batteries are not as dangerous (to my knowledge) I will be housing the electronics in a pelican case with fuses so that water/shorts are not an issue. My mistake. Look forward to seeing it all come together....

Re: Running Accessories
2nd that on being careful with lithium batteries. After a few years playing with radio controlled cars and choppers I've learned about the potential for these batteries to explode. It's a good idea to take the precaution of making sure you charge them in a safe place like out in the garage or even m...

Yeah Eppalock is looking great. I think it's about 3/4 full now.
It shouldn't take long for the fish to make a comeback.
