Re: G,day again

Hey Bruce, Good choice! The Revo may feel a bit tippy at first, with primary stability not being as good as some other Hobies, but it's secondary stability is excellent, so it's ideal when the sea chops up a bit (mine's the Revo 13 so I probably get a slightly smoother ride). The Revo does have its...

G,day again

I`m not totally new here but it`s been 3 or 4 years since I`ve posted . Sold my Revo 11 back in 2017 due to Illness . Wanted to get back into it so bought another brand new Revo 11 back in July and haven`t had a chance to use it yet due to shutdowns , so hopefully in the next few weeks we`ll be set ...

Re: So, where is lobo?

You'd think with Loco being away the fish populations would be on the rise. But if there were no fish around he'd still find them.

Re: Considering upgrade

Thanks for the reply's everyone . Deep down I know I`d be better off with the 13 or maybe even an outback . Most trips are in the bays with the occasional offshore and rivers and lakes . I bought my 2014 Revo 11 as an old model just when the newer models with vantage seats came out saving myself a b...

Considering upgrade

I`ve been considering upgrading my 2014 Revo 11 to a new one . The only reason is I want the Vantage seat . Looking at the prices there is very little difference between the 11 and 13 foot models . So I`m wondering if I`m better off going for the 13 foot model . I suspect a few here may have had bot...

Re: Unusual new kayak with Aussie connection

I used to have a porta-bote . Can only say good things about it . I certainly took it out in some trying conditions . A lot of people who came with me mentioned it was more stable than a tinnie . One bonus was being able to take the caravan and boat on holidays . The biggest annoyance about it was a...
