As Cheater has said, that Baysports yak looks looks very similar to the Prowler kayaks which are a very good plastic yak design. I had one as my first kayak and you should have no dramas in WPB with it.

Fillet the inside of the bend first, then the outside should straighten up.

I find with whiting that are a bit bent in the esky they tend to straighten up once I've scaled and gutted them so maybe that will help with your pike.

Yeah the hired one a crack.

I contemplated an AI for a while, bloody heavy and a lot of setting up to do before you hit the water although you would be drier and cover more ground than you would in a Stealth
